The Farmhouse "Le Calastre" expresses the work of a farm that is open for more than twenty years.
In 2003 we decided to open up the reception of guests, both for eating and spending a few days in the country side.
It is a simple farmhouse where you can park your car but also your horse, where children can play safely and where, in certain spring and summer evenings, you can see hares, pheasants and deer run and eat in vineyard or in strawberries field (yuck!).
The name comes from the perch of wood that was used in the past to hold the barrels of wine and was chosen because wine is our main product.
Our origins are rooted in Valconca area, where Gibo's parents and grandparents were born and lived. They were working the land but, as it happened to many people in the past, they went to work and live in Rimini, on the Adriatic coast.
With confidence and a little "crazyness", we did the reverse path, we went back to the land and we now trying to discover and preserve the best traditions of our land.
